TeamUp have been awarded funding from the Wembley National Stadium Trust (WNST) from April 2017 to March 2020 to extend the TeamUp initiative within the London boroughs. The support we offer includes local delivery support for London schools to help provide additional opportunities for girls to participate.
TeamUp would like to thank WNST for their generous support which allows us to provide direct support to schools to deliver engaging cricket, hockey and netball lessons or extra-curricular sessions. As part of this we are able to support teachers with their delivery of these sports and leave a legacy of high quality opportunities for girls across London.

Thanks to this WNST funding we are now offering TeamUp schools based in the London boroughs the opportunity to apply for the following support:
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will work with local county cricket boards to provide a range of offers within London. This will include whole days of cricket activity to include; assembly, classroom activity and lunchtime taster sessions. Schools will also be able to access 6-8 week coaching programmes specifically linked to an identified outcome for the school. Other offers will include leadership programmes, GCSE Moderation support, competition preparation, gifted and talented programme, teacher support and staff training and facilitation of school club links.
England Hockey will work with local hockey clubs to provide after school clubs at agreed schools within London. The after school clubs will run for 30 weeks. A wider programme of teacher training will also be available, to enhance understanding and delivery by teachers to support provision through more schools, and to encourage support for more out of school sessions. We will also be offering schools involved with the hockey delivery free schools tickets to international hockey matches taking place at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
England Netball will be offering schools the opportunity of one of our local delivery coaches to come to the school and support the delivery of a netball programme lasting at least half a term. Within this offer the coach will engage and inspire your pupils whilst supporting your teachers to develop ensuring sustainability of delivery. We are also looking to work in partnership with a select number of schools through a student netball leaders programme to support the provision of inclusive and adapted sessions for those with disabilities. Alongside these offers we will also be implementing an innovative talent identification programme within London particularly focusing on identification of potential unidentified talent across schools in deprived areas of the capital.
Please complete the following information and select the support you are interested in applying for. Schools will be selected periodically based on need and intended impact of this support. This application process will remain open for the duration of the funding and schools can apply and amend their application at any point if the support they would benefit from changes.
