TeamUp are partnering with the Youth Sport Trust’s hub schools initiative. We have selected 10 schools to be TeamUp hub schools and will be supporting them to develop their team sport offer to girls. We can’t wait to hear about what they all get up to!

The 10 Hub Schools have the opportunity to participate in an in-depth programme targeting girls participation and community transition into cricket, hockey and netball. The TeamUp Hub Schools are a national example of best practice which can demonstrate and develop the impact of the three World Cup sports on girl's participation and community settings.

Alongside this role, the hub schools are tasked with targeted development, so they can have maximum impact on girls' aspirations, engagement and achievement in school. The focus will be places on inspiring the next generation of girls to engage in these sports using the power of respective World Cups with placed emphasis on transition into the community sport setting.

Benefits to the schools include:

  • Strengthened community links with clubs in your area
  • Access to unique opportunities and education in TeamUp sports
  • Access to development support from YST and TeamUp NGBs
