Two more sleeps! The ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 is nearly upon us, as Heather Knight’s England side prepare to take on India in the opening clash of the tournament in-front of a full house in Derby on Saturday (24 June).

Over the next month, the best female cricketers on the planet will battle it out in a 28-match round-robin group stage across four host venues – Bristol, Derby, Leicester and Taunton – before the top four sides qualify for the semi-finals on Tuesday 18 July (Bristol) and Thursday 20 July (Derby) in a bid to line up in the coveted Final at the Home of Cricket itself, Lord’s Cricket Ground, on Sunday 23 July.

To celebrate Women’s Sport Week, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is inviting schools from across the country to be inspired and watch the action for free! Working closely with the England and Wales Cricket Board and the host venues, school groups can apply for free tickets to experience this flagship global event, including the Final at Lord’s.

To apply for your free tickets simply download, complete and return the order form attached to this news item. But hurry, this offer will expire at 17.00 on Sunday (25 June).
