The TeamUp initiative, designed to engage schools and help teachers deliver team sports to girls, is seeking inspirational and influential teachers or sports leaders to act as official ambassadors of TeamUp.

Ambassadors will be rewarded with a range of great prizes based on the number of schools they encourage to take part in the TeamUp initiative, including sports kit, match tickets, signed women’s cricket World Cup shirt and a chance to win a pair of tickets to the SOLD OUT Hockey World Cup Final 2018.

Selected ambassadors will become the face of TeamUp, using social media to spread the news about the initiative and introducing TeamUp to colleagues, peers and parents – anyone keen to encourage more schoolgirls to experience the benefits of team sport. They will also engage pupil in their school to become TeamUp Champions to help engage their peers in team sport.

To become an ambassador, teachers must be signed up to the TeamUp initiative and be advocates of girls’ sport. Entrants should be able to explain why they’d be a good Ambassador for TeamUp, how they could help promote TeamUp, and their thoughts on why the campaign about team sports for girls is so important.
